Specimen Requirements


Specimen Type: EDTA Plasma

Collection Tube: Lavender top, K2 or K3 EDTA

Collection Instructions:  Store samples on wet ice and centrifuge within 2 hours of draw. Then transfer to cryogenic tubes and aliquot as necessary before storing tubes in the appropriate freezer.

Volume Required: ~200 mcL  

Storage/Transport Temperature: Frozen @ -80C

Stability: 736 Days while stored @ -80C from date of draw

Unacceptable Conditions: Severely Hemolyzed or thawed samples
